ModelTree version 2.7.4 and later
The following article will help you to navigate and work with the ModelTree rent roll table. Let's take a look at how you can get a better experience of using ModelTree.
Customize your Rent Roll table
As ModelTree supports multinational valuation and investments management standards and methodologies, that can vary from country to country - our rent roll has many data inputs and calculation logic. You can simply customize your rent roll table and get rid of columns that you do not use and add and leave only needed one.
- Click (and hold) on the band you do not need, drag to the top, and drop there.
- You also can get rid of a single column in a band to customize your view. Just do the same steps as for the band.
- If you need to turn back deleted columns, just click Add/Remove Columns and select needed from the list. You also can unselect not-needed columns there.
Set Rent Roll view for the Organization
You can tune rent roll view and set it as default for your organization.
NOTE! You must have a supervisor role in your subscription to do that.
- Customize a view of the rent roll tab as described above.
- Select Upload Layout to Db button to upload a customized view to the shared db and make it available to all users of an organization.
NOTE! By default, this function is not available. To activate it, please contact Exquance support. - After that other users can synchronize the layout with the server by clicking Synchronize button. You can change the layout for a certain project if you need it and then return to the default view by clicking the same Synchronize button.
- To delete the layout from the database click Delete button.
Organize your Rent Roll
You can reorder columns and bands in the way you need. To do that:
- Click (and hold) on the column/band you need to move.
- Move it to a new place in the rent roll table (until you see 2 orange arrows showing where the column will be placed)
- Drop it there
Freeze Bands
It's much easier to work with rent roll if you make basis band static. To do that:
- Right mouse button click on the band you want to freeze (basis band).
- Choose Fixed Style.
- Choose the position of the frozen band.
