Create a new fund

Create new fund on Funds-page and click + New Fund-button

Enter fund details in a dialog that opens and after completed, click Create-button on bottom of dialog.

 

Fund Information

Important choice is to set fund either as Open End or Closed End fund, This will affect how Fundy calculates many things.

If you select Open End, you shall additionally set

  • Add Historical Transaction Costs to Unit Price Calculation
    • Yes or No

This info is critical and affects how unit price is calculated when making new drawdown.

 

If you select Closed End, you can additionally set

  • Liquidation Date
  • Years

Fund Settings

Bank Account

  • IBAN
    • It is crucial to enter bank account (IBAN) to Fund. Without bank account info, Fundy doesn't allow making transactions
    • When you enter IBAN number, Fundy validates it. Technically incorrect IBAN numbers are not accepted
  • Payment System ID
    • If Fundy is integrated to make automatic payments to investors or read info from made payments by investors, it is crucial to have payment system ID-value stored here. Consult always your company's person about what this number should be.
